Has any body experience problems with the auxiliary contacts, We have several on our 0 gauge layout and have been noticing at least a 50% drop of voltage
between the rail voltage and that of the frog while running DCC. the spec for the points reads: 1 amp switching and max 4 amps normal.
We have had to introduce 10 amp rated relays between the tortoise and the rails/frogs.
It would be interesting to hear from anybody if they have experienced any problems, the actual points action has been faultless it's just the auxiliary contacts.

As a Club Member involved in building a new O gauge Layout of 26ft long by 16ft wide.
It has two circular roads with a freight loop and factory siding alone with a eight road fiddling yard.
We hope to have a least 7 - 8 locomotive available on track at the same time, this will include some heavy dual motored diesel locos
The lay out had be wired primarily for DCC working of locos only, signalling / turnout are to be powered via a separate power supply.
Can anybody suggest a good DCC system to cope with the layout demands.
We have preference for wireless controller to avoid getting entangles with controller cables.
Some of the member are concern about reliability / supplier support due the high cost of these items.
Can any member make any suggestion please.

I have been searching the internet for 1.43 scale figures for our Club O Gauge lay, most of the figures I have found are either dressed/modelled in USA style or are
passengers. I am looking for Track Side plate layer and any suitable of the work areas like a Gas Works.
Can anybody help with suggestion
