Nice! I really like this model. I still have an original (Triang or Hornby?) 3 car set from when I was a kid! Posted by: fatmoggy On: 24 Mar 2013, 11:01 |

love the layering, back scene with clouds (if you painted them congratulations), the 3D greenery at base ties it in loverly. Like the bare plaster, then the basic colouring and finally with the scenic texture added. Bet if you crop some of this it would look like the real thing. Great job so far, more piccies when u finalise it would love to see the comparison Posted by: Jaz On: 1 Jan 2013, 15:35 |

Hi Norm. I like your use of Magnetic catches to hold up the scenery. Retaining Walls I presume? Very laterally minded. They are easy to get as well.... Posted by: sarah On: 6 Dec 2012, 19:43 |

QUOTE (Mark Chapman @ 18 Mar 2007, 17:22) After spending many hours converting this turntable from Peco into a fully indexed working model which worked around the micro switch notched 12"record underneath system I decided after a few month to scrap the lot and get hold of some Meccano worm gears and have the whole thing turn very slowly manualy and I have to say after having both systems I prefer the later. I had thought about indexing my turntable however a worm gear and a motor and mark one eyeball to line it up is the way I think I am heading. Nice layout by the way!
