Advance notice for the Derby Model Railway Exhibition
12 & 13 May 10.00am-5.00pm Adults £6, Junior £3, Family £15. Moorways Sports Centre Moor Lane Derby DE24 9HY 27 layouts confirmed plus 24 traders Layouts include N, OO, OO9, EM, P4, O9, O16.5, O plus HO and O American and HO and On30 Continental. I'll get the layout and traders lists added when I have the extra information from the exhibition manager. Mike |

Regret to advise that Zorba's Mine (Continental On30) has been withdrawn due to illness. At this stage, I'm unsure if our exhibition manager is organising a replacement.

Time for another update for names missed off and new information
Traders K&M Models. (Mad about Trains, Gainsborough) RMLectronics. (All sorts of working station lamps etc http://www.rmlectron...co.uk/index.htm ) Trackside Signs. (As it says, trackside signs, station signs, posters etc http://tracksidesigns.co.uk/ ) Societies and Demonstrators etc 7mm Narrow Gauge Association Model Bus Federation German Railway Society Swiss Railway Society N Gauge Society DEMU Famous Trains (local charitable project to set up a model railway for public viewing - run by Colin Boocock - details here http://famoustrains.org.uk/ ) Scenic demonstration by club member John Ward (last seen in the clubrooms a couple of weeks ago getting a large TV PAT Tested so he could build a layout inside it during the show Mike |

Many thanks to our exhibitors, traders, club members, and of course to our visitors. We had a great show, everyone seemed to go home happy, our new catering arrangements worked well and the attendance was up a bit on last year - all in all we think it was a great success.
