Recently read an article by Graham Wharburton in I think it was an article in Issue 1 of Rail MODEL Digest concerning the building of 4mm signals. On page 78 there is a brief article on a Pratt Truss gantry etched brass 4mm scale kit of parts for a LNWR/LMS pratt Truss Gantry made by the now defunct 5522 models.

Does anyone know whether this still exists and if so where from?

AS LF says, the Highland stuff from the 5522 range went to Lochgorm Kits, but unfortunately none of the LMS items, including the truss concerned. I am not sure if it fits the bill, but the review of the Traintronic's colour light signals in one of this month's magazines mentions a new etch for a trussed signal gantry, but apart from a small picture there isn't much info available at the moment - the website quoted doesn't even mention the range!

I should have pointed out that '5522' Models is NOT defunct. The recent issue of a Stove 'R' kit ought to tell you that. ALL the LMS parts are still available and that includes the extensive series of MR coaches, plus some LNWR, some GWR(B Set etc) , G&SWR (Manson 6 wheelers) , and Cambrian. My parts to complete Comet and 247 etches are still in production as well.

Reports of my demise are greatly exaggerated.

Hi Alistair,

are these only available in 4mm scale or are 2mm versions produced?
