By following this thread you can catch the latest news of Twickenham & District MRC's N Gauge exhibition layout - Batty Moor.

On October 20th 2009 when this thread was started, the layout was fully operational and the final detailing was being done with a view to the layout going to its first major exhibiion in Spring 2010.

As the layout progresses the group will add postings to bring the story up to date...............

It's now March 2010 and BATTY MOOR'S first proper exhibition invite is only a month away. The group have been very busy taking photos and making a video which will shortly be uploaded onto our website. In the meantime, here is a photo of the group setting the layout up ready for a photo session.

Batty Moor is now ready for the exhibition circuit. I do not know if it will ever be ‘finished’ because every week we make improvements working on the layout in our Twickenham clubroom. We are booked to attend East Grinstead Model Railway Exhibition at Sackville School, Lewes Road, East Grinstead, West Sussex, on 10th & 11th April 2010. Here is the video link made at a recent running session. We run the layout on the last Friday of every month and visitors to the club are made most welcome.

We are looking for help to upload a new video we've made of the layout.

Batty Moor at the East Grinstead Show Saturday 10th April.

Setting up. Spot the penguin!

This show was exactly what we needed to launch Batty Moor. We are most grateful to East Grinstead Model railway Club for inviting us and offer our thanks to all those who made the huge effort to come and support us.
