I would like to propose to enter two more forums:
1) a forum- what are model railroad shops in/ around XYZ and what to visit in XYZ 2) a noticeboard- buy, sell, change, seek, notices |

The buying and selling,I think, was agreed to be done through pms or emails as it can and does cause unessesary problems for the moderators.Good idea that it is.
Correct me if Im wrong. And the info on good or bad retailers and there whereabouts is already covered somewhere on here, again correct me if Im wrong. Kind regards, Frame |

Kind regards, Frame We have had the discussion about buying/selling before & as Frame says it could lead to problems that the moderators would have to solve. The danger would then be that people would only join MRF to sell stuff off, contribute nothing & then leave. There is already a comprehensive directory of model shops and a diary of exhibitions here http://www.ukmodelshops.co.uk/ Mike As Mike says, it's already covered. Once forums get too many sections they become fragmented & unweildly. -------------------- Take care & enjoy life

Thats the sole reason I have an account over at RidiculouslyModeratedWeb! Rob Taking the above into account, do you still have an account over at RMWeb? -------------------- Steve

Who mentioned RMWeb?!......
I just logged into it to check if my account over there still worked! It does but haven't posted in over two years. This forum covers everything I need and more with regards to the hobby, except a classified section. However, I think in the current climate for online scammers (have a look at the problems the excellently moderated classified section over at AVForums is currently experiencing) I understand why we don't have one.
