Due to restrictions on dates set by the school we have used for the last five years and not being able to find another suitable venue in the Rawtenstall area we have decided to make the Manchester Museum of Transport Exhibition in May this year our main exhibition with the possibility of a smaller exhibition later in the year in the Bury/Rawtenstall area.

Therefore Manchester will have all the DCC aspects of the Rawtenstall show including the Seminars and Workshops.


MRX 2012 Exhibition Update: 31st January 2012

Free Heritage Bus Service

A free shuttle service will operate between Manchester Victoria station approach (opposite the taxi rank) and the Museum of Transport.

Every 20 minutes throughout the event, using heritage buses.

From Manchester Victoria 0950, 1010, 1030 and every 20 minutes until 1650
From the Museum of Transport 1003, 1023, 1043 and every 20 minutes until 1703

I was rather busy running the UndergrounD, so did not get to take any photos of the other exhibits, but there were a lot of photographers around so hopefully more photos will follow of what was a really outstanding show.
