Hi

I just thought I would start a new thread to allow members to show off their new Locomotive purchases that they have acquired recently.

I am starting the ball rolling with my purchase off my friend Nick (upnick) of an American loco! the GP38-2 in CSX livery. It is DCC fitted with a digitrax decoder in. It runs very smoothly indeed and I am looking forward to running it eventually when I move back to Shropshire and start a new layout biggrin.gif

Here's some pictures of this beast anyway.

Ok everyone lets have your "new" purchases and tell us a bit about them etc.

Kind regards

Paul

Hi Nick

That's a nice looking engine mate wink.gif I do love those older American (I know what your thinking, steady on Paul you don't DO American!!) engines with the bullnose type front end. Lovely and bright livery too Nick. I don't remember you showing me that one when I came over to your house the other day!

Kind regards

Paul

Blech! Much too old US stuff. wink.gif

Allow me to introduce my latest purchase, albeit it is not my own photo:

An MTH UP Hertiage SD70ACe. I really like the livery, the thing is so heavy you could use it as a hammer, and the detail on it is superb.
