I don't think this tool will work on Hornby wheels. The jig is for 1/8" or 3mm diameter axles. Hornby use 9/64" dia axles. This would probably be better if you can find one. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Hamblings-Model-...dEAAOSwHr1eYK82

Do you mean the rubber tyres? Romford or Scale link wheels don't need the quartering tool as they are fitted on a squared axle. Which wheels did you buy?

I would rather they produced the old Class 70 ie CC1 electric loco from the former Southern railway.

If you havent got the kits already, dont bother to order them from Coopercraft, they will either take an age to appear or not at all. I have kits on order from 2 years ago which never arrived. I never got a refund either.

When did Hornby sneak these onto their website http://www.hornby.com/uk-en/wagons-coaches...-coaches-1.html

I always use Humbrol Enamel No20 Crimson. Note NOT acrylic. Applied over an undercoat of red primer.

Scale inches in 4mm/1ft - Not expressed very well. I meant real inches at 4mm/1ft.

Railmatch do a BR(S) green No 2314 for the Acrylic paint. Sprays nicely after thinning a little.

I use Dulux Satinwood (oil based) paint from my local Homebase. This thins down nicely (with cellulose thinners) for airbrushing and can be matched to any railway colour you want with their colour matching computer. Unfortunately the smallest tin size is 1/2 litre. Look out for their special offers.

I can recommend the Engine Shed at Leytonstone. Been there a few times. Give them a ring on 020 8539 3950 to see if they have what you want.
Map and details on http://www.ukmodelshops.co.uk/shops/140-The_Engine_Shed .

Don't know where you live Justin, but try your local Model Shop! I get mine in the Salisbury Model shop.

Anyone here know any thing about Coachcraft coaches? Probably the same era as 00 Graham Farish with plastic bodies and metal bogies/wheels.
Anyone heard of them?
