Just to keep it up to date.I have not had much time on the layout lately but have been replacing my old grain of rice yard and depot lights with leds bit by bit.I have also had to repair part of laira depot and a complete re-build of 1 of my class 52s cabs after a wall clock fell onto the layout. The clock has been moved since.

Greg
the sound vids are imposed cd recordings from maybach music. These vids are dated now as laira shed had,nt even been thought off.I will attempt to getting round to doing some up to date ones in the near future.
Thanks for your interest.I have not had a lot of time on the layout lately due to work and spending a weekend seeing a real maybach monster in D1062 western courier on my local line the NVR again shots on youtube under nene valley railway 2010 see D1011thunderer postings.

Greg
I can only assume the G/F version of western yeoman is the preseved version ex D1010 wene in this guise.I have seen somewhere that dapol have been looking at doing there own version of a western. The farish version is well outdated now and although i am all dc a dcc version would be a great improvement.Someone mentioned a class 41 warship. These unlike the class 22 are avail from its n gauge as a full ready to run kit.

Again thanks for all your kind comments.
I must add that i have lived on the east coast main line all my life 1st just outside biggleswade and now peterborough. It was on a visit to bedford midland in 1973 and seeing D1030 western musketeer that started the fling with the western region and spent many a weekend at old oak common, paddington and reading. The farish western is far outdated now and needs a lot of work on it to look good.It was the release of dapols hymek and farish warship that inspired me back into n gauge.

Thanks for the advice guys but i may have a problem as all my pics of the layout are in my pictures and dont have a url address so looks like i wont be able to show which is a pity and a main reason i joined this site was to share them with you.Its a pity not to see just a simple copy and paste in the forum posts.I do use photobucket but that is proving un-reliable but if this is the only way to show i will try.

Many thks to all your welcomes.
I will try and show my layout in the next few weeks.
It is simply fictonal but has exeter as the main station/a small section of sea wall/a scaled down version of laira shed with old oak coming off the fiddle yard inc the turntable.approx size is 14ftx8.
The locos are mainly western region hydraulics with 18 westerns/5 warships and seven hymeks.
I am a big fan of the class 52 since seeing one at bedford midland rd in 1973.If someone could thou tell me how you post pics in here as see no attachment area would be of help.
