Hello all and hope you can help me.

I have a good friend who has just retired and I wanted to buy him a model of an 9F locomotive, (his favourite), to be mounted and inscribed to commemorate that event. It does not need to work as it will be mounted so doesn't need to be a specific size either.

When looking on the internet it seems I can pay under £20 or over around £120 but I canít seem to find anything in between these prices which is why I've joined your group in the hope you will know.

Can anyone inform me of where I'd be able to get something somewhere within the 2 prices above please but still looks good or, better still, a specialist place that will sort it for me?

Best wishes

Mark

Hello Mark, probably a bit late to reply but here is a link to Evening Star apparently in stock. http://www.petersspares.com/hornby-r3288-c...est-oo-gauge.ir Here is a link to a display case. https://www.expotools.com/acatalog/Display-...ives-50000.html All you need is a piece of track available from most model train shops. That was the best I could find for you.
