Hi All,

Just saying a public thanks to Neil_S_Wood and SRMan for their hospitality in extending a welcome and invitation to their homes to run trains last Saturday. Much appreciated as I have just hit Melbourne and look forward to further sessions and seeing you all in Geelong for the show this weekend.

Paul.

It was a pleasure to have you here, Paul. I'm just sorry I was a bit distracted with all the other things happening at the same time.

You are welcome back at any time. thumbsup.gif

Probably not a bad idea. I'll see what I can do.

The bus would take a while too. You'd be substantially older by the time you got here. wink.gif

Hi Neil
Sorry to burst your bubble, but in "The Clearing House" (BMRA's in house magazine) there is a meeting of BMRA members scheduled for the 7th of Feb at Peter Stokes place. I would like to go to both, but as a shift worker I am rostered to work over that weekend. So I would miss out on one or both. It is always great to get together and socialise at these meetings and see what other people are doing and view someones new purchase. Highly recommended, as BMRA are a group that gathers socially at peoples homes and does not have formal meetings or the trappings that can sometimes be-devil other more formal types of organisations.
Cheers Manfred. cool.gif

Yes, you're right. ohmy.gif I had just assumed it was the third Saturday. rolleyes.gif Just as well you'd mentioned as I hadn't bothered to check. Well I might do something on the 21st then if there's any interest. See you on the 7th then.

Hi Neil
It just happens that I am rostered off on the 21st, so IF it's a goer I would love to come. Also get some more tips on how to get around this forum site. Still stumbling around in the dark at the moment. PS Frank might also like to come as well.
Cheers Manfred biggrin.gif

Hi Manfred,
the 21st sounds good. You and Frank are very welcome to come. My layout is all DCC though so I don't have the facilities to run DC locos. You can still show them if you have anything interesting you've bought. Hopefully it wont be as hot as this weekend.

Cheers

Neil
