Hi all,
A friend of mine here in Australia hasn't been able to get on to MRF for a while. He gets a message that the ip address isn't recognised. All other sites are working and this is happening on his win computer and an ipad. Any ideas or advice please.

The workaround is to to switch off IPv6 on the network connection he is using to connect to the Internet.

Approximate instructions for a Windows PC

* Go to network settings on the PC
* Select 'Change Adapter Options
* Select the adapter which is connected to the Internet.
* Right click and select 'Properties'
* Scroll down the list and uncheck 'Internet Protocol version 6 (TCP/IPv6)

This also happens to me. I often cannot access this site for a whole day.

Thanks, David and hoonsou for your help.

Turning off IPv6 fixed the problem.

I see from another thread that a few of us have had the same problem - different countries, providers etc - referred it to the forum admin. So hopefully the will let us know what caused the problem.

Cheers

Almost certainly a problem with the forum software.

Just logged on myself for the first time in several days and there have only been 7 posts in total in the last 4 days. The forum will just wither away if this isn't fixed and many existing users just give up ...

Hopefully it will be fixed up in the near future. I for one wouldn't like to lose it. I'd noticed how quiet it's been of late but put it down to the better weather over there.
