Along with my fellow club members we are building a 0 gauge layout, on the side I am thinking of building a "Derby Lightweight Class 108 DMU 2 car" in which I wish to install both DCC and sound chips.
Can anybody advise any supplier of suitable chips.

Have a look at the the Brian Lambert web site, I have found the best for understanding the wiring.
Brian was an British Rail signal engineer. He allows you to download data for your personal use.

Good luck

If you have sent off the registration card you will automatically receive an eprom with the revised software: the revised software will allow up to 6 recalls. In the meantime you are like me stuck with 2 recalls

Richard,

I e-mailed NCE about 10 day ago and recieved the following reply:

Norman,

We have a N.S. Young at 43 Hill view, Bicknacre. Is this you? If it is, then you are in line to get the free upgrade to the PowerCab system. When? Unknown for sure but soon.

I have a NCE Power DCC system, two loco running in opersite direction on a twin track system, suddenly one loco derailed and caused a short as a result both locos stopped dead. I re-railed the loco tried to set them off again but nothing.

Mounted one loco on the test trrack, checked through the Cv all seemed ok, when I finally found some life it goes in reverse instead of forward.

Can anybody through some light on the subject

I have 2off locomotives left to me by my Father back in 2000, Hornby R.683 SR 4-4-0 Schools Class V Repton and R.262 BR Coronation Class Duchess of Atholl.
Both have live chassis, one side of the motor is part of the chassis. Is it possible to convert top DCC if so how do I go about it ?
