I'm modelling the GWR in the period 1920's to late 1940's and am having difficulty in locating 00 scale motor cars and small commercial vehicles for my layout. I would be very grateful if anyone can suggest sources/manufacturers of these types of models please (rtr or kit). (I live in Australia and am coming home for a holiday in 2 weeks so any info would be very helpful.) Many thanks.

You should have a look at Langley Miniature Models on http://www.langleymodels.co.uk/acatalog/Sh...1___G58_30.html

There are some manufacturers who advertise in the Railway Modeller, for example John Day Commercials at 104 St Peter's Close, Moreton on Lugg HR4 8DW. Send SAE for list, it says.

Jordan Highway miniatures make a range of HO scale vehicles including a 1928 Model A Ford Sedan. It looks a bit like an Austin 7 when viewed alongside 00 scale vehicles. You should have a look at their web site on http://www.87thscale.info/jordan.htm.

Have fun,
