I am a bit of a Southern nut. This small company in Sussex produces limited runs of Southern Locos. Their Drummond 700 "Black Motor" 0-6-0 was reviewed a month ago in Hornby magazine. I have heard mixed reports. Has anyone ever bought one. Were there any problems? They are about £180 so I would like some feedback before taking the plunge

Was that the company that was originally called 'Golden Arrow'?

I don't think so - I feel sure I've seen both of them at shows this year.

Don't have any direct experience of them myself, but I know someone who has examples of their 'Arthur' and 'L' and is happy with them AFAIK
