Our 2008 Uckfield Model Railway Exhibition coincides with the 150th Anniversary celebrations of the opening of the Lewes & Uckfield Railway. The Saturday of the show falls exactly on the anniversary of the first passenger train which ran on Monday 18th October 1858. The Exhibition will once again be featuring a selection of some of the best quality layouts around. There will be full trade support as well as Demonstration & Engineering stands. Licensed Restaurant within the Civic Centre will be open throughout the weekend.

Highlights of the show include Pempoul - Reseau Breton by Gordon & Maggie Gravett, Pudley Lane by David Bickerton and Stoney Lane Depot by Grahame Hedges. Also in attendance will be Flintfield, the P4 GER layout by Vincent de Bode, which will be making one of its rare journey's to the UK from the Netherlands. Modeller and author Iain Rice will also be assisting with the manning of the Club's demonstration stand.

Public access to the Civic Centre is via either the free High Street car park (Civic Approach), or the Tesco Superstore. The venue is also only three minutes walk away from both the railway and bus stations.
