I read on another site the other day that Hornby have access to four class 31's: Tri-ang, Airfix, Lima and the new one!
I don't think any other manufacturer has one. It must be some sort of record.
I imagine if one was to go to the Railroad range the Lima one would be most likely.

This was discussed on this forum a few months ago, although I can't find where it was. The concensus of opinion was that Hornby do not have the tools for the old Airfix 31. (Did they go to Dapol?) Thus they only have 3. I would agree though if anything goes to the railroad range it should be the Lima version. The old Triang was good in its day but were it a horse it would have been put down long ago.
