7mm Narrow Gauge Chassis (0-16.5).

I'd like to replace the Hornby 0-4-0 chassis (Nothing wrong with my 00 gauge chassis) with something metal. What is the easiest way? Heard it mention about about U-shaped channels available in D.I.Y. stores? What is the intended use of the U-shaped metal length as may be easier to find if I know. Thanks.

I found a solution. It was to use a Triang metal chassis. Thanks.
