I had a very nice day out on the Bluebell yesterday.

And apart from getting freezing cold standing on the end of the platform waiting for the next train without realising we had missed the last one, it was a great day out. i think this is possibly the best preserved line I have been to. they run a good service and give a good day out without letting silly things like H&S get in the way of actually seeing the trains!

Anyway enough of my waffle
here are some pretty pictures.

Yup probably my favourite railway and with some of my favourite loco types, ie C, H, O1, P etc etc.

Thanks for taking the time to share the results.

Great pictures, especially of the Stirling 01, she does look stunning in that S.E.C.R livery . I have been 3 times and have not been disapointed yet. Staff are very helpfull and friendly too.
