If uncle Taff at Oxford Diecast could release an early 1950s Removal Van from the Wrexham or Chester Area.....I'd have one or two of those!

That's a cracking looking scene. I especially like your treatment if the roof. And I'm glad to see this thread revisited.

It'd be nice to start a new project with another model. I think that was the original idea to have everyone build a model and see what each individual would come up with.

Yes I know that there has been a lull in activity on this thread!

BUT there has been a development...

There is a rather nice example of Dapol House Bashing in this month's (June 2014) issue of Railway Modeller.

This one has been made by a Richard Bannister.

Another Update.....

My letter to Railway Modeller in response to the House article referred to above (last post) has been printed, along with one of my photos, on Page 579 of the current (July dated) issue.
