A little guessing game

Folks,

I spent a small fortune on the internet today for my latest purchase (I may need to sell some older stuff on eBay, so if there are any takers for a Trix class 96 in Ep.I... sorry, back to topic.
)... I´m looking forward to seeing a yellow DHL truck pull up, with the driver getting out and ringing at my door - and when I have fun, everybody should.

The first forum member to guess what I have bought will be sent a yummy bar of German chocolate (I´m thinking Hachez 55% cocoa)
. By mail, from Yours Sincerely. (hope I can send it to everywere, if an Australian member guesses right)

Three hints:

- an engine

- Gödel will REALLY drool over this one

- not available in stores

So, what may it be?

This is a really fun idea! I guess this, the biggest and fastest Austrian steam locomotive ever, and will never speak to you again (
) if it is:

Lemaco BBÖ 214

Although I *think* this is an 0 scale model so I shall guess again!

how much is that?
You don't want to know Neil!
According to one American website the average for a new O scale model from Lemaco is £4500... but I don't know anything about this sort of "bespoke" (hehe - the wheels have spokes!) modelling so I don't know how realistic a price this is.

Then we are still friends!
I knew it wasn't the Liliput one as obviously available in shops, so I shall think hard and guess again!

I guess it´s OK if I solve the puzzle - apparently, these buggers are very limited, and in case any of you guys wants to order one as well, here goes:

Don´t click here if you want to keep guessing!
Oh dear, I hover my cursor over the link, being tempted to click, and my computer says it is a link to ÖBB and then I know immediately!! I confess there is no way I would guess Taurus because your last purchase was the 1216; although perhaps your other half insisted?!

I would of course really like one but the scale is wrong wrong wrong!!

Interestingly Hobbytrain will do the EM-Taurus "Deutschland" in N scale this year!
And also other countries (three as they promise Greece too) but of course not Austria or Switzerland because they are only hosting the whole thing!?
(or Roco got the license first?
)

Who´d want to buy the Netherlands version?

I wonder what a UK Taurus would look like?! The flag is nice and complicated...but then for some reason the regions of the UK compete by themselves and the England flag is a simple design without the other bits. We will never know...

And so they are delivered, but which one to go for? It was hinted that if they are received well then models of other countries might follow, so to do my bit to encourage this I thought I would buy one of the four now available:

Deutschland or Niederlande

or Spanien or Griechenland

So far I have one vote against Netherlands registered (!). Personally I like the very strong colours of the Germany one, but the pattern of the Greece design is very striking...anyone care to make a selection, footballing abilities aside!?

Now here is a good idea - a limited edition set of the two EUFA locomotives in identical liveries, one the Austrian Taurus and one the Swiss Re 460 - the lion and the tiger of their respective continents!! In H0 and N scale obviously...

There is a better picture of them side by side here:
