oh and its a W1, an M-1 was a massive coal burning steam turbine electric made by Baldwin for the Chesapeake and Ohio Railway in 1948. Just a little trivia.

The W1 lasted as 60700 with a 4-6-4 wheel arrangement. I think it was scrapped by 1959, there is an entry in Ian Allan's ABC loco book 1957. It was shedded at Grantham for a period (left my magazine copy relating to this info at Work, so I can't be precise)
