I saw this article on the BBC news website today. The Strath Spey Railway is short of funds to build their new extention. Puts my railway in the shade by comparison.
They are lucky they are in Scotland - they ought to able to touch the executive for a small sum like that, no trouble!
The cost is tiny compared to the money already spent on the Welsh Highland Railway, who have just run the first steam hauled train through the Aberglaslyn pass!
