Another Newbie - trying to get to grips with DCC

Just discovered this website and already found some helpful tips.
I am currently holidaying in the USA but have a small OO layout in England which I have been working on for a year or so. I am doing a little shopping in the USA whilst here and have just bought a Digitrax Super Chief which I am looking forward to getting to grips with. I hope to get some sound and lighting going on my S&DJR influenced layout. I cannot believe the big UK manufacturers are dragging their feet on DCC sound and lighting which are so exciting!

Hi barrymx5, welcome to the forum. There are quite a few Digitrax users around here so if you need anything, please feel free to ask.

Hi Barry and welcome to the MRF - even though you are another Southern man.

Hope you enjoy you trip to the USA though I doubt you'll find many bargains at the moment with the exchange rate being what it is.

Look forward to seeing some pictures of your layout when you return.
