I'm trying to find pictures of Austrian/German/Alpine railway structures and embankments etc. I have tried google but with no luck - has anyone got any in a private collection?

Maybe you could look at the site: http://bahnbilder.warumdenn.net/index.php
This is an Austrian site. You will find pictures under 'Bildergalerien' and 'aktuelles'. Hopefully you will find what you're looking for.

Another useful item could be the book 'Eisenbahnimpressionen Österreich' (ISBN 3-88255-261-1).
