You could try i suppose, then let us know of the outcome. Are they in danger of becoming as irritating as Lima and more latterly Heljan in terms of spares availability. It seems ludicrous that you can buy a full chassis for a 25 year old design yet not for one that they have introduced themselves and is still curent with new versions on sale last year although they are showing either out of stock or awaiting delivery. Bad for business and customer relations.
Perhaps this is an issue that could be put to the Bachmann spokesman when he meets with representatives from the forum.

I wonder if their seeming reluctance to deal with you might be because they prefer for you to go through an authorised Bachmann stockist. It might be worth a try. Or one of the second hand model spares firms M.B> models springs to mind though they are known for Lima spares I believe they do some Bachmann stuff as well. They advertise in model rail but don't appear to have a website or email address.
