Those of you who know me on the Forum know i lost all the feelings in the end of my Fingers.
I desparately wanted a Garden railway for my latter years and was a keen but terrible wood worker. Dilema.
Contacted the Mens Shed where i live which is a form of Charity.
I donated all my power tools which i cannot use safely anymore in return they would construct the infrestructure to lay the track. Deal Done.
My partner is getting some landscaping done next week before Friday when Ian from the Mens Shed start. Some pics of Garden pre start. My interest is mainly Swiss Rhb and Harz with a Bit of Historic Rigi Bahn Thrown in. I hope you enjoy my Journey.

Well after getting all the main Brackets installed on the fence posts everything has gone smoothly
Today we started laying the Composite decking starting what will be 3 sidings coming off a radius 3 point there will be a small hinged section to allow us to get to the side of the ASHP and outside water tap.

Today Was a good day on the construction site After checking that the 3 & 4th radius works we then carried on to infill the middle section which now gives us a Template for the next 2 right angled Bends..
Method in my madness .

Hi Babs, I was wondering were you were.

Here's a link to a garden setup made by a guy that I used to work with. You may want to consider a folly, rather than a cubby house.
There's some other pages on the Ferguson Brothers site with some excellent landscaping tips for smaller scales, if you're still doing those.

Hi Adrian Thank you , We had a Death in the family in late November and since then We have been dealing with the affairs. Sorting a 5 bedroom house out and so on we had the funeral on the 16th of Jan. So we are just now getting back to normal If there is a normal It has left a big Void in our lives.
Trains have taken a back seat we will get there.
Thank you for the Video of the Cubby I don't think we would have enough room for one but a great Idea.
Take Care.

Having run probate for my dad I know it takes up a lot, but I just wondered if you have managed any updates.
Linka, The Probate is not a problem, What happened at the begining of Jan I damaged the tendons on the back of left leg & I also now have bone on bone on both knees, four days later my right leg gave way in my hip and I went crashing to the ground and damaged my face, knee, hand, Shoulder with bruises & Swelling Like I had done five rounds with Mike Tyson.
The Organisation who signed a contract to build the Infrastructure for the garden railway after taking two donations has for some reason stopped working on it and leaving me in the lurch with no Explanation They say that they are trying to find a resolution. I have now lost another 3 months of good weather.I myself cannot do it because I have no feeling in my fingers ( No power tools ) to be used, but I also cannot lift the planks of decking which are 10 feet long It might go legal that is all i will say.
