Are all of the Bachmann Class 24s 8-wheel drive and 8-wheel pick up (just like their class 25 models)? I'm almost sure that they are, but I just want to double-check before I go ahead and order one.

The reason I'm asking is that I've noticed that Bachmann has made some changes to their larger Co-Co locomotives... for example their class 37s and 55s... which have been improved. I'm assuming (based on what I've read) that ALL of Bachman's Bo-Bo (and B-B ) UK locomotives have always been all-wheel drive/all-wheel pick-up. Is this correct.

I've only recently got back into the hobby... and recently purchased four Bachmann locos: two class 25s, a class 20 and a Warship. All four of these locos are light years better that any of my old Hornby stuff. Until the Bachmann, I was seriously considering doing a North American layout, for the simple reason that I wanted all-wheel drive/all wheel pickup/centrally mounted motor with flywheel locomotives. These are common in the US market and have been for years. Luckily Bachmann saved the day for me!
