I've been reading through the Summer 2008 edition of the Bachmann Collectors' Club magazine. It contains news and information of all the soon to be released Bachmann models. Produced by Bachmann, the magazine is an interesting read and does contain some good complimentary info on some of the models.
There is a feature piece on Fawley Hill and Sir William McAlpine's railway collection. Another article by Dennis Lovett looks at the evolving Era 2 open access and freight operations. Dennis also contributes an article on the resurgence of Scottish railways
There is info on Farish N scale models as well as a brief look at some Liliput releases.
BTW, the editorial does mention that a further 1500 models of the NRM Prototype Deltic will be produced by Bachmann.
Collectors' Club members receive 4 issues of the magazine a year + a quality calendar at Christmas (pictures from the artist Malcolm Root) + catalogue for 2009 on publication (worth £4.50) for either Farish or Branchline + a free exclusive members wagon in OO or N for an annual membership of £17.
The new club year starts on 1 July so Bachmann are taking renewals and new membership applications right now.
