Done a search but yet to find what I'm looking for. Sorry is it's out there somewhere.

I have a Bachmann LNER V3 tank OO gauge and I want to fit a decoder into, are there any how to's out there as it will be my first split chassis attempt

That seems quite a simple procedure

Now just found I haven't got a spare decoder fitted them all to other locos.

Well that's that done, alot easier than I had expected, and all back togeather and working first time, I even got the connections to the motor right first time so it ran the right dirrection.

Key to this one was dismantle slowly and lay all the parts out in order, Nice cup of tea, fit decoder, assemble slowly and carefully. DONE
