I bid on a box full of brand new mainline spares which had everything from brushes and buffers to complete motors included in it, it was a dealers box and i stopped bidding at around £60 i wish i'd had the funds available to go further. I can't remember what it fetched in the end but i haven't seen another set like it since.

I didn't know the 3 car sets had the centre car driven though i suppose it make sense.
On the subject of bachmann spares i had to contact them about a class 37 i've just bought that had no detail kit and when handling it somehow one of the buffers fell completely off and the other at the same end the shank snapped. I got a very quick reply stating that the buffers are the same as in the packs you can buy in any model shop and the detail kits are £2.50 but don't come with snowploughs. Not that i'm too bothered about the ploughs as the other bachmann 37 i have seemed to dig in on points when fitted with them. and they look a bit cheesy as well, too plasticky to me.
