I'd love a nice, super detailed Midland 4F. I had hoped for Hornby to do it but in the present climate as its an old Hornby product, its bound to be Bachmann who announce it first!

No doubt it will be Bachmann overload when they have their turn at the London Toy Fair.
Haven't Bachmann already declared a year of consolidation though?
Anybody any thoughts on what Bachmann will reveal?
And what they won't reveal that they should!

Prices of additional Dynamis bits and bobs to be revealed. New super high spec decoder.
Demo of Deltic sound loco.
Class 68 loco
LNER Class B12 loco
Warship upgrade and sound
City of Truro
An 0-6-0 tank loco (to be decided)
Blue Pullman (not really)
Weathered versions of previous rapidly sold out models (Evening Star + Black Prince)
Blue and red collector club locos
All models announced in 2005 and 2006 and 2007 to be available in 2008

There is a group of holes arranged as a grid on the underside of the tender of my new Jubilee "Hong Kong". It's the sort of grid which covers the loud speaker in plastic electronic equipment enclosures. I haven't yet dismantled the tender to see if there are any other "interesting" bits on the other side of the moulding, but once I get a decoder I will be having a look and taking some photos. It there is to be a tender mounted speaker, the tender upper body moulding will have to change as it still has the complete bunker sides.
Whether or not this means a Jubilee with sound will be announced this year, I don't know. But someone is planning for it in the future, at least for anything coupled to a Stanier tender.
As for the rest; I do hope there's a new ex LNER locomotive - a reworked V2 would be very nice.

Speakers can be made very thin they only need about 5 mill in hight and the tender would make it like a small speaker cabnet you might get a good sound from it , Hornby used it with some sandpaper and a metal strip for there chuff sound many years ago so we know it will make it louder so they can use a small speaker it might work well

I really hope that the B1 and V2 at least are next for the 'renewal process' that has transformed the Jubilee. I am a little surprised that the B1 hasn't been done already: the body tooling is still very acceptable, it only needs the chassis.
I'd have thought a retooled B1 would be a much more obvious candidate than a rival B12. And I think a lot of people will be expressing disappointment if neither the B1 nor the V2 is announced for retooling
Original Patriot as the "tit for tat". Maybe an original Scot. No doubt there will be more DCC and probably sound. Maybe a Standard 2 . It wouldn't be a Bachmann announcement without it being top heavy with LMS and BR standard steam
A 68 is premature - licencing ties etc are not negotiated that fast.I can't see a rejigged Warship as a priority. You would expect a diesel model - either a shunter (retool of 04/03??) or a follow up DMU to the 108. Or it might just be release of the 108 as a power twin
City of Truro would be an NRM special so could not be announced at the Toy Fair . If it were to happen , an announcement would probably be in the autumn of the relevant year. They haven't even got the Deltic into people's hands yet
With luck the 150 will surface by the end of the year - though if we don't see a preproduction model by Ally Pally even that is doubtful . I can't see the 4-CEP this year. Maybe the Super D for Warley. Not sure what else is outstanding

I would have expected steam sound this year as a logical progression from diesel sound last year. If so these will go straight to the top of my list.

A ready chipped Farish loco with sounds would be nice. to save all us poor souls from having problems doing them ourselves.
That or a dcc ready chassis for my class 47 and also a fastline class 56 would be nice
