Hi Richard,
I had never heard about using meths. what a great idea, I will give it a go at some stage.
The PVA that I use is marine grade. You are correct that purchasing better quality PVA is the way to go. I buy it 4 liters at a time, not that I use that much, but the wife and kids seem to use a lot of it. Thank goodness they don't use my F2 spray!
