QUOTE (william @ 13 Jun 2007, 18:43) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
Hi I'm looking for a little help please I've just picked up a very nice BEMO HOm loco it's a GE 4/4 but a
bit of the glazing has come away can anyone tell me how the loco body come's off also is it just me or is HOm track
very rare as I'm having a job finding any
thank you for any help

If it's a RhB Ge4/4" I can't help yet with the loco, I've got one that needs a service so I'll try to remember to post the findings,

If you are in a hurry you could also ask Peter Brett at Winco as he will service Bemo locos for a fee but advice is free if you ring up and order any bits too

Not many places stock the HOm track but anyone who sells Peco track can order it for you. Winco, http://www.winco.uk.com/ stock the Bemo stuff.

Email me if you need any other info and I'll try to help.

heres a link off the Bemo site showing the part assembly see section 2, the tabs on the side glazing strip secure the body to the chassis.
Using a small screw driver gently ease out the bodyside, away from the chassis, just inboard of the windows and then insert a strip of thin card to keep it unlocked while you do the other three. The body should then just slide off. Don't shove the screwdriver in too hard as the body could split, if you need more info I'll take mine apart again and email some pics of doing it.
