The loco's are more my area and a good clear shot of each one is usually sufficient (the first pic is free on ebay) I try to combine 3 pictures into one to prevent having to pay.You don't have to upload them onto an online picture service unlike posting them on here as ebay upload them for you. A word of warning though it isnt always easy to take a clear shot of such a small loco as you'll probably see if you look at a few listings. For p&p I usually quote £3.50 first class recorded but bear in mind that covers for up to about £30 compensation so if its worth more than that the more expensive special delivery should be quoted for(or offer both).
As for the wagons if you have any duplicates you could combine them as a rake and the same with coaches. Any boxed ones i'd sell individually and unboxed offer as rakes again. Postage wise about £1.00-£1.50 seems the norm for wagons and £2.00-£2.50 for coaches.
You don't have to sell overseas if you don't want and certainly if you do be aware of postal times abroad and charge more.
For a full list of postage rates the royal mail website is here...

I'd post an example picture for you but for some reason the forum is resizing them to gigantic size and throwing the page size out.

For reserves the minimum if you don't already know it is £50. Annoying but thats ebay for you. Are you planning to wait until Tuesdays 15p listings day? Oh one other thing don't make the basic error of listing on ebay.com instead of ebay.co.uk or all your listings come up in dollars. You can always make your reserve price known in the listing rather than face a barrage of questions (its amazing how many bidders are unaware of the minimum reserve anyway).

I know you need to have something like ten feedback to offer things for a buy it now only auction. As for the £5 wagons I suppose they are merely starting the auction at the minimum price they are prepared to accept. They may only get one bid but starting at 99p may only go for £3 Just as an aside the US ebay site has a minumum reserve of $5 which is more sensible and there is a bit of a theme on the community forus asking for a reduction in the minimum reserve. Ebays response was that a signinficantly higher percentage of items sell without reserve than those with one. I think to work for ebay you have to score pretty low on the intelligence test, somewhere around Baboon i suspect.

You never know Chris I may be one of your customers! Don't panic I have a perfect 100% positive feedback score (well so far anyway) despite selling to a couple of people who could quite easily've been stroppy gits. There was a guy who thought I should post something recorded as it didn't cost any more. And one who pestered me 3 days after I paid a cheque in asking where his item was. I've currently got a slow payer in spite of my complete the checkout and 7days to pay rule but it is Easter so I'll give him a couple more days. I know he's been online 'cos he listed some stuff over the weekend.
If you do have any problems or any questions I'd rcommend the discussion forums on the community section. You can post any questions or look through for a topic relating to your problem 'cos most of them will've happened to someone else before.

Just be wary with keywords... NOT is unaccepteble as a comparison eg lima class 37 not bachmann or hornby.. but compatible with is acceptable it appears. Its called keyword spamming and despite the recent crackdown it has reared its annoying head again. I listed some nameplates as being "suitable for" hornby and had 2 listings pulled, as much ebay ignorance of things as my own.Ebay don't carry out their own monitoring of what is on sale they rely on other users to grass on sellers breaking the rules. Thats why so much counterfeit stuff goes unnoticed until its too late.
