QUOTE (swisstrains @ 10 May 2008, 10:41) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>According to the Trix Online shop this loco (nr.12159) is now available.
At approx 100 Euros it is considerably cheaper than the Fleischmann version due to be released later in the year and should sell well.
I'm looking foward to seeing it the flesh, well at least in digital photographs, as the prototype is so vibrantly coloured. We'll have to wait and see if the insulators on the roof need touching up. I have a pair of Fleischmann SBB Cargo Re 482s which really look 'the business' in double traction so I was sorely tempted by a pair of these from Minitrix, and of course at 100 euros you can get two for the price of one Fleischmann model...

(...in the end I decided to pass though as on the next page of the catalogue was the highly unlikely but wonderful ÖBB 1012
)

So any chance of a review then John when it arrives? I promise I'll do one for the 1012 when my head stops spinning...

What sort of freight train would best match the BLS Re 485 from models available? I think there are some articulated container wagons on the way from Hobbytrain for the SBB / HUPAC / AAE (a quiet rolling stock hire company?), have you seen any of these in the flesh? There are some strange blue coloured ones floating around I think

Also some interesting wagons from Creanorm for Swiss modellers are on the way, I noticed available from Winco in the UK. Are they Swiss Post wagons?
