Believe it or not I haven't actually ordered a 485.................YET
Assuming it runs as well as the Minitrix Re482 and they have done a reasonable paintjob I might well be tempted at a later date.

Although the 485's usually haul intermodals (including RoLas) they can be seen hauling most types of general merchandise. There are plenty of wagons in the recent Minitrix sets to make up a suitable train.

As far as I know it is the Sggmrss 90 and Sggrss 80 vehicles that are hired to the likes of HUPAC by AAE. Because the Hobbytrain container wagon is based on the Sggnos/Sggmrs/715/714 series which is considerably longer it looks like they could well be entering the realms of fantasy again.
I assume that the blue ones you refer are those belonging to Kombiwaggon (yet another subsidiary of DB). They are quite common but usually so dirty that they blend in with the more numerous grey wagons.

Yes Rupert they are the rather characteristic Swiss Post container wagons. For me these are one of the years highlights and I have space in my postal depot siding for at least five
Thanks for the Winco link. I have been looking for a non-Swiss stockist ever since I first saw the wagons advertised. I have not been having much luck with HM Customs recently and some of my Swiss purchases have been a bit on the expensive side to say the least.
