Hi
Had a excellent day at the Bluebell Railway yesterday. In case anyone isnt aware Stepney has her last runs this weekend as her Boiler Cert expires on the 10th June . Had a excellent lunch in the station and the sun shone as well!!. Followed with a visit to Sheffield Park Gardens which are beautiful.

We were at a "Made in Brighton" weekend on The Bluebell a couple of months ago. I thought that was Stepney's last run. We had good weather too. The main difference appears to be that this time the driver could fit in the cab. The weekend we were there, the driver was _very_ tall as you can see...

Nice set of pics Nick - contrasting with the last 1 : 1 pics that I posted !

I really did think the last one had atmosphere - pity the passengers were not attired as the station staff !

Thanks for posting them.

(Nice pick also David thanks).

Excellent photos,

1638 has always been one of my favourite locos. It is also nice to see that someone has finally tarted up Sharpthorne, when I was there last year she looked very sad.

Regards
