Can some one help me find some code 100 brass track ? I know peco did it many years ago but i cant find it anymore .
I need about 3 metres and dont mind if its just the rails . Before some one says ebay i have a search in there for 2 months now and its only come up with two 6 inch lengths and lots of brass track screws !
Not worried about the make as it has not got to join onto other track .
Any idea where to start looking will help but i do need to run locos on it so paint is out
Just incase you think im mad i want it to look like rust for a little used line

*** You'll probably have more luck looking for phosphor bronze rail, which used to be available from SMP.

Code 100 brass track is still available from Fleischmann - we could get some on our next order from the factory - send me a PM if this is any help to you.
I think you can still find some from Ebay. I myself happened to buy a "job lot" of Fleischmann track from Ebay. They are quiet old stuff. But after I filed the surface, I found all of them are made of brass. So I guess you can search for older Fleischmann tracks from Ebay. I think it is cheaper to get them from Ebay. I got the job lot which is enough for me to form an oval of some 2.5 metres length and only cost me some 6 pounds including P&P. Good luck for hunting in the Ebay.
Thanks dbclass50 i will let you know .What lenghts is it in ?

The flexible is in 981mm lengths & the "Setrack" 204, 102, 55 & 40mm long.

Often, eBay prices reach near to RRP & more than we sell it for - both "Model Track/Brass" & "Pro-Track/Nickle Silver" !
Hi
I'm not sure but I think Bachmann track is brass as I got some from a model shop pretty recently and I'm sure it was brass.
