Ok, thanks guys and I thought I was the only one up at this time.

The instructions that come with the loco are actually for a slightly different model. It says it has a light in the engine cab operated by F2. You can certainly spend a lot of money on these digital sound locomotives! I'm still on analogue and waiting for one of those Fleischmann Profi Boss controlled to come into stock.

There is a leaflet sadly only in German for the loksound 3.5 but it doesn't seem to list the number of sounds available. Is there an English version of this downloadable anywhere or could anybody tell me how many extra sounds there are like whistle etc.

thanks

Well I've got it all working with my Profi Boss and for the record it was F4 that made the smoke generator work. There were a total of 11 functions F1-F12 but strangely F9 didn't appear to do anything. Not sure what a lot of the hisses/grating noises were so just set a different icon for each.

Hi, I'll look into doing a video, what site would you suggest to host it?

Checking through the manuals, there seems to be a generic manual for the loksound v3.5 in the box, all in German similar to the one that you can download.
