A much requested subject for a model in recent years, and I expect the cuteness quotient will win them sales from those with layouts or collections in less fortunate regions where they didn't turn up. (As for me with my BR(ER) KX inner suburban area interest, that's now five RTR OO models of GER origin locos suitable for operation, and one fewer 'little black loco' to produce by DIY.)

Of course I have to pre-order one or perhaps two of these ............ though I have had trouble ordering from their website. I have pre-ordered a Brush Type 2 and cannot find an record of it. I have also been attempting to place an order for the BR J67 with early emblem but each time I confirm the order I am returned to an earlier stage in the process and my basket shows one item still needing to be purchased.

I have in the past ordered an EE Type 3, Brush Type 2 and a Deltic. Received the Deltic but nothing else. I will be contacting Accurascale on Monday.

When I went to order one of the next batch of Deltics I had to create an account. Once the account was set up it showed my previous Deltic order - fulfilled - and my pending EE Type 3. I'm assuming that they matched my email.

That didn't happen for me David. I thought that I had an account set up when I ordered the Brush Type 2 but, obviously I didn't. To ensure that I could pre-order the J67 I created a new account but it only shows that one order, the J67.

Whilst on the site I noticed that on March 9th 2023 they advertised yet another green EE Type 3 (green with small yellow panel); tried to order it but eventually noticed a hard to find flash that it was all sold out ............. in just 9 days. This is the downside of small batch manufacturing. You end up with a lot of disappointed prospective modellers.

At least I have a buckjumper on order but just where that Brush order is I don't know. I am now checking payments out of my bank because I think that I've paid for it.

Best regards ................. Greyvoices (alias John)

I had the same problem with my first Deltic but it turned up. It was such a long time between ordering and the model becoming available. I am sure if you contact Accurascale they will be able to sort things out for you.

Alterntively if you want to pre-order do so via a model shop
That wouldn't work in this case because this particular model was a 'web exclusive'. The way to catch those is either to haunt the website or subscribe to the email newsletter with the possible addition of checking your email spam trap.
