class 66 DCC sound clips

Hi,

I have just bought a 00 scale bachmann class 66 loco, I would like to know what DCC sound clips (of course with engine sound!) are good for it? Any band or website could be suggested? thanks!


By the way, does the bachmann class 66 need a 8 pins decoder or 21 pins? Please advise also.

That depends on which one it is, which batch it came from. Earlier issues had 8-pin sockets, newer issues have 21-pin.

SRman is correct it depends on which one you have the latest ones have 21 pin sockets but anything pre 2007 will definitely have a 8 pin socket. Take the body off and have a look.

ESU do a european 66 soundfile while for the UK ones here are two options.
Every sound for british locos, at either:
