Is the class 66 seen in this video what the Bachmann model sounds like straight out the box, or has it been modified?

Also is it possible to upgrade the old style Bachmann 66 to do the sound effects.

That may be a sWd 66 sound chip? Although South west digital do the sound chips for bachmann, bacmann have them set up to their wants and so far I dont think they are as good as the original Swd projects.The bachmann 66 is ok, but I have fitted Swd 66 chips

to my class 66 so yes you can fit your own sound chips and modify the loco to have tail lights that can be turned on / off when you want too.

Howes 66 is ok, but for me Swd 66 is still a tad better.

just found i have not u-tubed my howes 66 so will do so Sunday evening.
