Does anyone remember this series?
Made by ABC Australia around 1981-2, but shown in the UK by Children's BBC in the early-'90s. It was a drama about a boy called Tim and the adventures with a narrow-gauge steam engine called Wombat.
I recall it as having a Titfield Thunderbolt-esque plot in that they try to save the railway from lorry competition.
There is extremely little trace of the series on the web except an imdb page. In fact its so rare that the guy who played the lead role in the series himself couldn't even find a single episode to show to his kids.
I even doubt if there is any chance of a DVD release?
