Its a fairly obscure prototype (not to Southerners but for us north of the Thames , of very little use), its not particularly glamorous (like a 395 Javelin) and so frankly I don' t think its bad for £150. Hornby are getting away with charging £148 for the much more widespread , and therefor popular, HST .
Kernow are to be congratulated for commissioning this model . I just hope they don't get caught out as it was launched pre credit crunch and economics in the country are now very different. Now how about a commission of a Swindon 126 dmu or a 303 blue train?
