QUOTE (harkins77 @ 29 Aug 2007, 23:07) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>I've been messing around with my track tonight after recieving my last board for my layout and I have noticed that the voyagers I have seem to have a problem coming off a straight onto a set of kato points.
None of my other locos including my hst have any problems I am wondering if it is a design fault as the front cars wheels go round the turnoff fine but the rest of the cars including the power coach have the front set of wheels go ok but the back wheels try and go straight on when the point is set to turn left. I know there is nothing obstructing the track so what is the problem??
Any suggestions?
I am having all sorts of problems running the Voyager on my new layout - I suppose it is finding all my poor track laying for me! Particular problems seem to be abrupt changes in gradient, dips in the track on curves and baseboard joints where the rails are not in exact horizontal or vertical alignment. I'm using Peco not Kato track but hope the above is of some use.
