Hmm You didnt say what your budget limits are?? If you feel £120ish is OTT, then youre really down to the very basic train set consoles selling at around £50 to £80 GBP.
The two that immediately spring to mind are the Bachmann EZ 36-500 or the Hornby Select. But be warned both are very basic consoles.
