Hi,
I have (at present), only the power track (the one which comes in Hornby DCC Pendolino Train Set), as a power supply from track to controler.

Can I use this on a DC Controler, as I am not sure if this is specially designed for use with DCC.

I have a DC controler on order for testing non DCC items before decoder installation therefore need to know as I dont want to blow it up.

Many thanks

Yes, you can, but not the other way round.

The DC one has a suppression capacitor that a DCC controller will "see" as a short or fault.
