Would it be passable to have a diary page for the Clubs and Events section
then People can post shows on the dates the shows are on and these can be linked
to the thread on the correct forum page?

Please say if this is a good or bad idea anyone?

I've set up a new Model Rail Event Calender.

Click 'Calender' at the top of the page to go to the Calenders and select 'Model Rail Event Calender' from the calender jump. Any member can add an event. One time or recurring.

It will show up on the main forum page when the event draws near.

I've just tried adding a few show dates to the calendar but it won't let me do so....

Have you selected the 'Events Calender' at the list at the bottom of the page?

There are two calenders, one 'Community' calender for birthdays and one 'Model Rail Events' calender that members have access to..

I've added three of the shows I've been to and plan to visit again.

I know that I posted the Idea about the Diary but can the hyperlink to the Diary be added to the header at the top of the Clubs & Events section similar to the hyperlinks on the DCC section?

That will involve some programming. I'll see what can be done.
